EMIS Files
The Education Management
Information System (EMIS) is part of the Directorate of Planning and
Development within the Ministry of Education. EMIS provides statistics on
the formal schooling system in the Republic of Namibia. Two school censuses
are conducted every year: the 15th school day after the start of the new
year, and the Annual Education Census (AEC), generally held in August each
year.
